We have lived in our sweet little town for a bit over 5 years now and I am still amazed by the power of this community. Last Thursday we had our annual St. Baldrick's children's Cancer research fundraiser.....we raised about $5000 online, and OVER $6000 at the event in about 3 hours. It was a WONDERFUL evening. Matt was the event organizer again this year, and he did an amazing job. He is so passionate about St. Baldrick's and the children that it helps. I can not imagine what it must be like for a parent with a sick child....It was hard enough when both of the girls had the flu..... So, kudos to my fabulous husband for putting together a great event. I hope next year it even BIGGER!!!!!
I slightly hesitate to say that Spring is near.....bit I think it is!! We are so ready!! Bella has been outside every day and even River got to go for a ride in her new swing, SHE LOVES IT! River is such a happy little thing....she is actually crawling now, well.....crawling in reverse. She even cut her first tooth a couple of days ago.
